Book of Boba Fett has a trailer out. Honestly, it didn't wow me. Morisson seems very stiff, but great to see more of Ming-Na in her role as badass merc. She's great. If only I cared about Boba Fett as a character.

Until recently, i would have thought a Boba fett movie or series would be a lot like what we've gotten from The Mandalorian, but it looks like this series might be less (or not at all) about merc-ing and bounty hunting and more about post_ROTJ power struggles. Which is cool!

He could be made interesting (to me at least) if they used him as an opening to explore "Can a person train themselves on purpose to be as good at something as if they were Force-proficient at it?"

It would overlap with Dune (Mentats for example), but I do not imagine every other power structure in the galaxy simply sat down on the sidelines saying "Only the Jedi and Sith can be awesome, the rest of us are just average".

Well they could write him or Mandalorian as some sort of spartan batman. Jedi pulls out lightsaber to deflect bolt Mando has a shotgun/claymore mine. "Block this " BOOM.

IMO, Star Wars is more about plot armor than Force power. Unnamed jedi go down just as easy as stormtroopers.

Today is Disney Plus Day, the anniversary of the day the service launched in the US, and wow were there a lot of announcements. Some confirmed shows we had already heard about and some were brand new, such as Agatha, House of Harkness. There are so many, I am not sure if just hiding them at the end of this thread is good enough, or if today should have a new thread. I don't have the time right now to compile the list, but we can start with this:

Marvel reveals Disney Plus slate including Agatha: House of Harkness and Spider-Man: Freshman Year

Rumours of the Agatha spin-off have been around for a while. Only new thing is the subtitle. Which is somewhat significant, since it is a pun. Suggests the show will lean heavily towards comedy.
