D&D 5E (2014) What I'm looking Forward to in D&D in 2022

Inspired by the below YouTube video, I'm most looking forward to new setting, all the the upcoming UAs, seeing MP: MotM, the two D&D novels coming out next year in the Summer. I do agree with the guy in the video who said he wants to see a Kamigawa setting book, which I wasn't expecting as Kamigawa never interested me until December 16th 2021. Also hopefully it will be less of an insane year.

If A Kamigawa setting does pop up, I wonder if it would be a good alternative to Shadowrun.
Pretty much anything would be a better Shadowrun than the last three editions of Shadowrun.

Not sure if we'll see any more MtG settings next year though, given that they're putting out two "classic" settings and possibly an "entirely new" setting. Be surprised if they managed to fit an MtG in one as well.

My players are looking forward to fighting their very first dragon in D&D. We’re playing on New Years’ Day and I promised them they’d get to fight one.

Myself? Well, I’d like to see a 5e Dark Sun campaign guide (hopefully titled the Wanderer’s Guide to Athas).

Beyond that, I won’t deny the art for the cyberpunk Kamigawa looks really awesome. If they release a D&D-conversion for this, I’d give it a look.

SR needs a whole new streamlined rule set that doesn’t suck. Anarchy is the closest so far but they went to far in the streamline direction.
