Heretic of The Seventh Circle
My halflings ride goats, which are related to the giant goats ridden by some wood elves.

Other elves ride horses, especially in the continent that contains the colonial era Spain and France analogous nations.

The Grung ride giant frogs and giant lizards of various kinds.

The Gnomes of one nation that is very advanced in magitech ride living construct animals of various kinds, including birds. These are grown in artificial eggs in chambers that funnel ambient magic, life energy, emotions, and such, from the town above into the eggs, until enough power and thought and spirit has been absorbed that an eggs starts to pulse with light, at which point it is possible to bond with the creature before it hatches.

Yeah? If they made good mounts and were tameable, and not likely to rip our arms off if mildly mistreated or just caught on a bad day, we would ride them.
TBH, they don't really have the right build, stance, or locomotion style to make good mounts. (Or mentality.)
