It's certainly possible, but I don't count anything in the first season. They have to play it safe right now. We will see how much clout they have a couple seasons in.
This is how they've treated them all in the sourcebooks. Even the one that was published by WOTC.

Which also makes me think that for those who were curious, we might not see Joe Manganiello as Arkhan The Cruel in season two... since that character appeared in the ending Vecna arc and they most likely wouldn't (or couldn't) be able to use Vecna in the show. So they would instead choose a different story arc instead.
I assume we'll get some idea how the Vecna finale will be handled at the end of this season, what with the foreshadowing in the original streaming version. However, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them working out some deal with Wizards to use Vecna, if not necessarily Arkhan. (But it's not like they couldn't replace Vecna with a similar character.)

EDIT: Never mind, should have read the post from @Rabulias, "the Whispered One" it is.

Not having watched it yet, I would think the Chroma Conclave would be second season. It was the big major arc before Vecna. And they've hinted at it by using General Krieg.

But what do I know :)

I concur on the Chroma Conclave. The rug in General Krieg's lounge had the five dragon head logo on the Conclave on it. So I think they are setting up the CC for later (and Season 2 makes sense). Especially considering that in the actual game, didn't they face off and defeat Krieg prior to the stream? If I'm remembering that correctly, then the only reason to show us Krieg in the cartoon would be to pay off his appearance by having the other four dragons show up later and really kick everyone's rears. Otherwise, what's the point of blowing your wad on a full-blown dragon fight in episode 2 for no reason?

Yeah, sorry. I haven't started watching yet :)
The only thing we saw of Krieg in the stream was his skeleton in the cave when the fought the purple worm. So it will be nice to see him :D
