The latest Unearthed Arcana has arrived and the 6-page document contains rules for kender, lunar magic, Knights of Solamnia, and Mages of High Sorcery.

In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we explore character options from the Dragonlance setting. This playtest document presents the kender race, the Lunar Magic sorcerer subclass, the Knight of Solamnia and Mage of High Sorcery backgrounds, and a collection of new feats, all for use in Dungeons & Dragons.

Kender have a (surprisingly magical) ability to pull things out of a bag, and a supernatural taunt feature. This magical ability appears to replace the older 'kleptomania' description -- "Unknown to most mortals, a magical phenomenon surrounds a kender. Spurred by their curiosity and love for trinkets, curios, and keepsakes, a kender’s pouches or pockets will be magically filled with these objects. No one knows where these objects come from, not even the kender. This has led many kender to be mislabeled as thieves when they fish these items out of their pockets."

Lunar Magic is a sorcerer subclass which draws power from the moon(s); there are notes for using it in Eberron.

Also included are feats such as Adepts of the Black, White, and Red Robes, and Knights of the Sword, Rose, and Crown.

Maybe it's just me, but I know of at least 5 groups my age with disposable income. Hell, the guys in my group will often buy books that they never open just in case I ever decide to use them, or on occasion if they really want me to use it, will just buy it and give it to me. When I want a book or a game I go out and get it.

We all have lives, work, family, etc., but still make time to play. We're also the 13% with the kids in the that 36% of players in the 15-24 range. The kids who don't have nearly as much to spend, if any, on every(or often any) book that comes along.

I think you guys are underestimating how much financial pull the older group has.
I mean, I'll believe that the older demo definitely punches above their numbers here. But then, I also don’t think that WotC is neglecting older players at all.

Yeah I’m in my mid 30s myself and feel like I am getting all the things I was wanting when I was 13 and just starting to get into 3rd edition as it was released. I’m not saying they didn’t have a different experience but this has been overall great. Not perfect but pretty great.
Also mid-30's, started in the Aughts with 3E, and the first Settings they moved into beyond Forgotten Realms were Eberron and Ravnica...a Magic Setting from the mid-Aughts.

Wait. What do you want to see?
Setting build based on the games mechanics and constructed fully from themes of my childhood and adulthood brick by brick. with logical conclusions.

Mostly fantasy settings that have fantasy elements that feel more organic and naturallly occuring. This like black wizards, lenders, and gully dwarfs feel so... for lack of a better word...fake.

Yeah. I'm not saying that we're neglected. I just get the feeling from posts here that a lot of people feel like we should get less attention due to our lower percentage, so I'm pointing out why the attention we get is appropriate and we should not be ignored.
