Ya'll log on and give those Kinder some love.
I know they're unpopular, and I know the bar is low, but let's be fair: if they do a Dragonlance 5E, it will have Kinder in it...and this is the best version of Kender that we've seen so far.

Ranked most things as satisfied, except the pointless floating ASI mechanic and the new associated schools for the various Robes.
Kender mostly fine except for the phantom money that can be produced by Kender Ace Pockets.
Sorcerer fine but I wish switching stances wasn't tied to a long rest. I hate it when I guess wrong on which choice to have made for the adventuring day. This feels especially out of place for the sorcerer, not being a prepared caster.
KoS/WoHS should be floating subclasses or prestige classes instead of feat chains.
Background are fine (and I like backgrounds providing a feat, just not the ones presented here).

I agree. I love the idea of getting the benefits of a background based on what happens in the game, like Folk Hero. But they are poor matches in power to existing feats, feat-availability and narrative timing can easily not line up. These shouldn't be feats, they should be some other sort of Boon that the DM can grant.
Oh, and if you don't have the background having to spend two feats, all most characters will have in a 1-10 or 1-11 campaign, to fully join an organziation and preclude any ASI or customizing via other feats seems prohibitive.
