OK, I just watched part of the video and though Matt rubes me the wrong way a bit, he mentioned that dragons would be in the book (sort of) and I am a sucker for dragons. Time to go back that PDF!

Just read the minion rules in detail. Minions always hit in combat. That's a new twist......ooops. They do roll to hit, they don't roll for damage. My bad.

It's interesting that this will ship in August/September of 2023, as the new official monster book (5.5 or whatever) will be coming out just the following year. But I guess that won't affect sales now (for backers), just future sales potentially.

I kinda doubt it. And really they might hit a million tonight. And then there will be backerkit after.

Yeah, if the 5.5E ore-marketing talk is to be believed, they’re not drastically changing things, so we’ll still need books of interesting monsters to use.
