Level Up (A5E) Which classes need 1/3 Casters, and how should they work?

A5e currently has the Wildborn Ranger, but there still seems to be space for more. The Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster were two of the most beloved subclasses from O5e, and it seems as though A5e should have its response.

However, it seems to me that there are two considerations:
1. If Rogues and Fighters need 1/3 caster archetypes, they need to be significantly different than the O5e versions. How should they be distinguished?
2. The 1/3 casters in O5e were arguably a little too strong compared to the other subclasses in their respective classes. Should O5e aim to make its versions slightly weaker?

Ultimately I think you're right but to start is there anything that a fighter and rogue 1/3 caster subclass would do differently than the o5e versions? Mostly I don't know why not just use either of those. They exist. They're compatible.

...

I think a 1/3 caster adept would be fun. A "good" 4 elements replacement.

In fact, I'll give you a teaser of the names, even. ;)

Adept: Forbidden Fist
Berserker: Wrathburner
Fighter: Arcane Showoff
Marshal: Ecclesiarch
Rogue: Dark Eye -and- Sacred Agent

None of these will be in MoAR Volume 2: Intrigue, but you might see a couple as early as volume 3. (We currently have 5 volumes planned)

Marshal: Ecclesiarch
I had to look up Ecclesiarch, and having it as a Marshal archetype is intriguing. I'm assuming it's a 1/3 cleric caster, and I've always felt that 5e needed more of those. The only one I know of is a Bone Knight from an Eberron book, Morgrave's Miscellany.

A "Queller." Someone specifically made to fight supernatural foes. Which yes, I realize that it's very much a ranger or herald thing, but hey, a why not. I've been reading a lot of Usagi Yojimbo comics lately, and Sasuke the demon-queller is pretty much a fighter/warlock (I mean, he has a divine patron who shows up and gives him orders) but it'd be cool to have a that without a multiclass build.

We have 1/3rd casters for all of the non-caster classes (except the ranger, which already has one) written up and coming in future volumes of the Manual of Adventurous Resources series. ;)
Gah! I’m excited but also a little jealous! I gotta figure out things y’all haven’t already done!

For Fighters I would love to see a fighter that gets Divine/Druidic magic. I know this tends to step on the toes of Heralds/Rangers, but I feel this is a concept that's under utilized.

For Rogues I imagine one that gets spells similar to pact magic from the Warlock, but the rogue has access to spells from multiple spell lists giving them a huge amount of choice, but their actual spell "inventory" is limited.

For Marshal, I would love to see an archetype that dips into the bard class for them.

MoAR is a really interesting concept! Any chance it will come out as a bundle or unique volume somewhere in the future?
