D&D General Survivor Thread: Best D&D Movie

Nah... we just have to get everyone who want a different movie to win to dogpile LOTR. People are upvoting other movies, so they obviously want something else to win, so if we all downvote LOTR, it will be gone and something else can win it. :D
"No, see, if everyone downvotes LotR off of the list, it proves, once and for all, that Tolkien isn't part of D&D! We win!" -haters, probably.

Actually, I love LOTR (books and movies), but frankly to me it is the "obvious" choice to win, so it'd be nice to see something else win it. If LOTR wins, it basically enforces the position: why did we bother with this anyway???

And anyone who thinks Tolkien wasn't huge inspiration for D&D is deluding themselves...

Well sure, Tolkien was a huge inspiration for D&D, but this thread is about movies that best capture what a D&D party is like. And that's not necessarily Tolkien. My D&D parties are way more like Conan the Destroyer than LoTR, and by a large margin.

Who was the party of adventurers in Destroyer? (Don't remember ever seeing it).
