I think the other packets have released on Thursdays, so maybe it will be this Thursday. If they wait too long for the OGL tempers to cool (which never will for some), I think they risk running out of time to playtest everything, especially if something needs to be reworked a couple of times.

Maybe. But I've gotten the impression that they don't consider themselves on an unchangeable timeline.

Generally there's been some rumblings that a new playtest package will be dropping. The lack of news suggests to me that we won't see anything this week, and probably not next week

Hopefully it will have more stuff in it to make up for the delay.

IMO, the delay is more likely to be from the Golden Vault than OGL.

I mean, I am sure everyone was forced to read OGL surveys instead of cleric ones. But that's probably only a 2 week delay.

I did not expect anything else. Actually I do expect a staggered release to emphasize the idea that it is the same game. And it leaves a bit time to finalize each book with less pressure.

I suppose all they have to do to get back on schedule is to release bigger UAs. (That, or release a few closer together).

Interestingly for this delay, they intimated after the last few delays that they'd start pushing them out quicker. I think they started with a plan of once-a-month, but that didn't work out.
