I wonder if that island in Fornite: Creative Mode is only a test, a first step, and later we could see more things. Fortnite is very good as showcase for lots of forgotten franchises.

Sadly I haven't played in the last months, among other reasons mainly by technical error, not even I could loging. Other times the game crashed when I tried to go to the store of the skins, and it crashed several times in a game, losing the advacements for the missions. Now I am happy with "Titan Shows", because I can do other things. I stopped to be interested into "Idle Champions of Forgotten Realms". It was like the feeling when in a videogame you kill the final boss, and then you don't feel like to start again from zero doing again the same.

The Unreal Edito should allow add new creatures and elements. This means we could see a D&D pack, maybe even a VTT within the Unreal Editor. With the right actions, this Unreal Editor could be useful to promote other no-fantasy RPGs by WotC, for example Star Frontiers or Gamma World.

I'd welcome a D&D Beyond Update. Something that prints paper copies of characters that are actually useful at the table would be nice (and probably a pipe-dream).
Yeah absolutely. The printed sheet is the worst I’ve seen from an online builder. I’d rather use a printed excel sheet.

I’m hoping that they’ve been quietly working on a new framework this whole time, maybe the “general features system” they were working on before the purchase.

Yes, it has mysteriously been underdeveloped since the purchase, and yet had a lot of staff, apparently. It's almost certainly due for a big UI shift. Another thing that I'd really like to see is the ability to just simply pick rules, monsters, and game elements and drop them into a "favorites"-type spot, so you don't have to search for them all the time. Also, the ability to search keywords in single sourcebooks, without getting results from the whole archive (or does that exist and I just don't know it?).

Anway, DNDBeyond is good, especially when compared to most of D&D's history in online-tools, but it's far from perfected!

I noticed for books the core books (likely D&D One reference), Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tyranny of Dragons, no clue about the egg, no one has mentioned the spider that was right before the egg (could be related, a reference to the Drow?), I agree about the Ring of Steam being a Planescape reference unless a 1D&D LotR book is coming .

I think Tyranny of Dragons will be referred to in the movie, we might get to see, Tyranny of Dragons could also be the adventure they are running for the VTT demo.

Xanathar's Guide to Everything could be a hint that certain subclasses will end up in 1D&D PHB.

I don't think we will get any new unannounced books for next year, that will likely be a Wizard's Presents with MtG like as year where most of this year's line up got announced (except for some reason the major MtG set Commander Masters, which will make a fortune this year, got skipped).

Nothing that hinted at Deck of Many Things, although maybe the Spider and the Egg are hints of the plot of the that Campaign.

I think the black spider could be a reference to the Phandelver Campaign (the vilain more precisely).
