Planescape 5e Planescape- What would you like to see in the upcoming setting?

Ah OK that is different. In 4E I think they just merged the Abyss with Limbo and the Elemental Planes and a lot of interesting stuff was lost. This being just a merging point I can live with.
Where is all this news coming from btw? I am checking the D&DLeaks reddit and they barely posted anything in weeks.
Oh yeah, of course, I'd actually forgotten about the 4e version of the abyss, not really sure how I felt about that.

For the info, I believe there was a thread posted by Morrus which was providing updates from the creators stream.

64 pages for the Bestiary I think is more than enough. A good deal of what they need to cover is in the game already.
I would like to have a lot of Planescape creatures added - Rilmani, Hierarch Modrons, Guardinals, Archons, Gehreleths (Demodands), Linqua, Dabus, Formians, Parai, Rust Dragons, if possible the classic celestial non-fey Eladrin... many of these races have a lot of different types and would need more than one page. I feel Spelljammer wasted a lot of space giving stat blocks for 3-4 types of Githyanki and Thri-Kreen when those races were already in the Monster Manual.

Thanks, have not checked Morrus in a while!

That's nice, but 64 page bestiary is still not much. At least unlike Spelljammer's that was half Dark Sun this one can focus on the Planescape monsters. Hopefully.

Humm was not aware that the playtest revealed new creatures. You got any details?
The creator's summit WotC held yesterday. The transcripts are posted on these forums . Here is the one you want I think, though you need to scroll down near the bottom to get this info: D&D Creator Summit: VTT & OneD&D

From the transcript:
Is Planescape a book or boxed set?

It'll be a slipcase with a 96-page gazetteer, a 96-page adventure and a 64=page bestiary with a DM screen. There will be two different versions, the evergreen version and an alt cover version.

Why would they want to bring back that nonsense from 4E? Next you'll be telling me they will merge Yugoloths with the Tanar'ri...
IIRC, the elemental chaos has been in 5e from the beginning, it is just further out from the elemental planes.

Thanks, yeah someone linked that transcript here before, I for a moment forgot that Morrus was an user here, and not a separate site, LOL.
High end Celestials sounds nice to have, as I noted before, so far we only have 3 types of Angels (Deva, Solar, Planetar) in 5E.

I am hoping there aren't many player character feats and such to take up space. They should save those for Tasha/Xanathar style books, let campaign settings books be about campaign settings.
I could see them bringing back the Bariaurs as a playeable race, but I doubt it to be frank, ever since they made Centaurs playeable and (still don't like this) changed their size to Medium. (I mean look at the Theros Centaur miniature, looks ridiculously small, compared to a Human).

Bariaurs never had the same traction as the other species in Planescape, even the supplemental Githyanki are more popular than them.

But a Bariaur would simply be: take some abilities from the Centaur PC abilities and take some abilities from the Satyr PC abilities, drop the different abilities between male and female bariaur, as female goats do in fact have horns.
