D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie Cast Plays A Game Of D&D!

Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis, and Justice Smith played a one-shot, two-hour game of D&D before shooting started on the movie. The 30-second video, posted by Paramount Pictures, doesn't actually show the game, but the cast comments on the experience.

I am really surprised they didn't have the cast play in a one shot with Critical Role or someone as part of their promotion cycle. Maybe that was something they were saving in case test audiences didn't like it as much as they did.

Since they obviously recorded it, I would wager we'll see it eventually, even if it is a DVD bonus or heck maybe during some re-release add a showing of the game. Clearly they seemed to enjoy it

2 hours seems awfully short for that many people at the table. Considering that and how much effort it must have taken to get it set up and learn the rules I would have thought they would go longer.

I feel curiosity about the PCs they created. What the chosen by Hugh Grant?

I wonder if the rest of companies will start interested into the IPs from the TTRPGs. Now World of Darkness and Exalted are in pre-production, aren't they? But other titles are possible, for example "7th Sea" by Chaosium, or an anime based in "Legend of the five rings".
