Picard Season 3

Looking to see what Tybee Diskin has been in, I stumbled upon the Red Shirt Diaries. Which are absolutely hilarious - so thanks for that!
There's also "Nuka Break" (but don't mention it to her), "The 'Verse" (a Firefly fan film), "V/H/S '99" (on Shudder, I think), and a few more.

Problem is, most of the writers still try to convey that the idea of section 31 necessary - even if some of the individuals are villains. The very concept irritates me.
When? As far as I can recall, every time they show up they royally screw everything up and the more honest/competent Starfleet characters have to clean up their mess. That does not suggest being "necessary" to me.

And the show, while delayed is still inching forward.
An update of "they're still planning it" is not much of an update. I will worry about it once it becomes a lot more concrete.

Plus, even if they could reliably take it intact, they couldn't possibly hold it.
They could take it intact, because they already had! EDIT: By which I mean, Worf and Rafi effectively took control of it when they recused Troi and Riker, having killed the skeleton crew of changelings left on board.

They got Nana Visitor for Lower Decks already - so she's likely available (though "in person" may be a different get than for animated).
Nana Visitor also appeared in a YouTube play with other DS9 alumni, which was rather good (although to tie this post together, I did not like how it presented Section 31). Not canon, but calling it fanfic, while technically accurate, seems a bit dismissive. EDIT: It was Alone Together. (Link goes to the first episode - there are four in total, and Nana Visitor appears in one of the later ones.)

I was wondering the same.

Do we have a complete list of the beings who have possessed/controlled/bodily invaded Picard? It seems like any predictions re: this would need that info. So we have two factoids:

1) "It's not Irumodic Syndrome".

2) There's something inside Picard's body that the baddies want.

And I think the list of beings which have possessed/controlled Picard is probably extremely long. I'm guessing more than 1 per season? I don't even want to start on it lol. But it could be any number of beings/forces.
I'm not sure #1 up there is correct. I've been getting the impression that Irumodic Syndrom is more than what the Federation doctors realized rather than it being misdiagnosed twice.

Not so. Worf and Raffi infiltrate one small section of the ship, rescue Troi and Riker, and download some data. They must then immediately evacuate as alarms sound aboard the ship, indicating that the crew know of Troi and Riker's escape. The vessel remains well crewed right up until its destruction.
