I just rewatched that whole series. About 80% of the episodes hold up really well, and I have the feeling the other 20% weren't great originally. Very solid series.
Cool, thank you. I've been meaning to watch the whole thing "again" now that I'm older.
I was sad that the OG set was apparently torn down in 2018 :-(
Really the OG set!!? Do studios generally keep the sets for such an extended period of time?

True, but in that case, couldn't we also hold YouTubers to the same standards as journalism outfits?

Wait, are we talking about streamers or WoTC here?
You were trying to say the theoretical YouTubers who were going to get to reveal these cards as exclusives were damaged by the leak.

I said they are used to getting beat and their focus is on keeping the content train rolling, not spending meaningful energy worrying about why they got beat.

It's really not a big deal, even to the other streamers.

FreeVee had it on our Roku.

Apparently the exteriors anyway were an actual place they were using. Not sure on the interiors.

If WotC believes they have legal right to the cards, they're fully entitled to pursue a claim through the legal system. They are not, nor should any corporation ever be, entitled to employ a private security firm as a substitute for that system.
So you're just going to put a bunch of employees at private investigator firms out on the streets with no jobs? That's pretty harsh.
If I'm going to be threatened with legal action, I would prefer those threats be made specifically and in writing, not as an insinuation of what will happen unless I immediately submit to an extralegal search and seizure.
But would you view the legal threats are the appropriate things for WoTC to do? If they had sent this guy a legal letter, would you have been okay with that?

I'd like to poll streamers to determine the veracity of your claim.

I suggest to you that you have an inaccurate idea of how most managers would respond to "boss, I don't think sending the Pinkertons to this guy's house is a good idea," then.
I want to say any vaguely non-bad boss would happy to get a reasonable alternative idea (and have it pointed out about Pinkerton optics).

I'm guessing, let me spend xx hours googling this week to see if I can track them down and send them an e-mail, or just suck it up might not be what the hypothetical boss would want to hear though.

No, what you are doing is providing a clear statement of what you would do... partially. Saying, "Boss, I don't think sending the Pinkertons to this guy's house is a good idea," is different than doing nothing. You are being specific and clear. I forgot his name was not.
