However, Stennard is a community on the brink of collapse. Famine, coupled with corrupt leadership, has left it struggling to survive. Includes 11 encounter locations complete with NPCs each of which has their own table of rumors and opinions. There is also a Stennardite name generator. Hillwood Camp is an encounter location for any number of characters levels 0-4th. The first half details nine camp encounter locations and three detailed NPC. Each NPC has their own table of rumors and opinions. The second half covers a collection of encounters, including seven training encounters for outdoor PCs and random encounters for PCs traversing the region. Also has two wandering monster charts and a Hillwood name generator. The Stennard Character Creation Guide includes full step by step rules for creating 0-level characters. Has unique tables for Birth Auger, Occupation, Farmer Trade Goods, Mercenary Weapons, Dog Type (Occupation), Canine Size, Canine Traits, Additional Equipment, Character Name, and Canine Character Name. Special rules reflect the harsh conditions of life in Stennard such as beginning in debt, or having not eaten in days. Terrorizing the North Road between Stennard and Hastrull, the Cacophonous Bandits roam the Mangled Hills, preying on merchants and other travelers. They banded together to survive by any means are necessary. They bang on pots, pans, and any other loud instruments they have from their previous lives as bakers, cobblers, and ironmongers when they strike.
