He cast Fireball 26 times over the course of the campaign. He cast Wall of Fire 9 times. Burning hands 3 times. Widogast's Web of Fire 8 times.

He cast Polymorph 80 times. Eight-zero..eighty.

We also have 20 uses of Slow, 36 uses of Fortune's Favor, 23 uses of Dispel Magic, 14 uses of Haste, and 27 uses of teleportation Circle.
I don't watch 'lets plays' so someone tell me did he use polymorph as a SoD debuff on enemies or on himself and allies as a buff?

I would love to just have all the options.

Resistance
DR
Resist specifically magical/non-magical
And add an option for weak/strong damage that can be fully negated by resistance so we can let tieflings play with camp fires without being immune to fireballs.
Yeah, both options are better than one. I like the idea of creatures being immune to small amounts of certain kinds of damage from a narrative and worldbuilding perspective.

No not 85% more like 60-70%, without the hit points, the weapon flexibility, the feats, the extra attacks, the fighting style, the second wind, the action surge and the subclass abilities.

2 feats over 20 levels (1 over 10) action surge and second wind and indomitable. if you are a d8 full caster (bard, cleric, warlock) you are down 1hp per level but 2 at 1st if you are the bladesinger wizard you are d6s so 2hp per level 4 at 1st

for 5th level spells at 10th and 9th level spells at 20th.

and the only one of thse useing the subclass is bladesinger so that is about even.

oh and at best you are up 1 attack for 1 level over first 10 levels and 1 attack for 6 levels and 2 attacks for 3 levels over 20...

Yes they can put their efforts into fighting in combat, but then they’ve got lower saving throws and less magic focussed feats.
why would you get less feats?
one 9th level spell? Useful but hardly a game changer at that point with legendary resistance and magic resistance.
dude wish is literaly a game changer

sure if your fighting baddies that don't have 9th level magic as well. But then you need a new DM. At those levels the Baddies have to have all the abilities the party has or the DM has made themselves Obsolete and useless because they refuse to use the tools they were given.
