@Neurotic How are you wanting us to react to Vor pointing his crossbow at us when we summit? Do you want a bit of an altrication now or keep it for later? Do you think we would have noticed it or do you think you would have "regained control" in time?
@Quickleaf obviously I'm not planning on "fighting" but what are your idea of other "pvp" type rolls, like insight, or charisma type rolls against PCs?

I'm mostly hands-off when it comes to joyful rivalry / fun hijinx style inter-character conflict. Basically, I see it as your time to have fun with each other and screw this GM guy looking over our shoulders.

If you find it enjoyable to roll skill checks against each other ("do I believe what you're saying? ok! I'm rolling Insight"), go for it. I used to play with a group of navy guys who were very into this style of play & constantly messing with each others PCs, and it definitely took me some getting used to, but it can be fun as long as everyone's onboard.

Generally, I'll only get involved in inter-character conflict if something is becoming disruptive OR if the players involved ask me for help/ideas to adjudicate something.

I'm very happy with anyone messing with my character - pick my pockets, sneak up on me etc. The only things I don't like is rolling persuasion or intimidation on me- you can persuade or intimidate me, but I will decide how I react based on the context. Spells on me are ok too, but I might veto something that takes away too much agency!

He's hidden, so you would need to see him first to see that. Other than that, react as you think your character would. I would expect those that know anything about (cross)bows would think him incompetent (you don't point to what you don't want dead)

Others...whatever you think appropriate. If you have good insight, you might play it out like you understand there is some inner conflict. Imagine if you saw Golum/Smeagol scene from afar. Except you understand only half of the conversation.

If you have experience with war trauma or guilt-ridden survivors...again, whatever you think appropriate.
