I think the majority of it looks great so far. My only complaints are listed below.

The attack granted by Cold blooded for the enforcer should allow sneak attack if you haven’t used it this turn. I am unable to think of a way that this would be abused and it would feel pretty great to finish off a weak enemy with normal weapon damage and get to use your sneak attack still on the same turn.

I think the wizard subclass features should be based around short rest usage instead of PB per long rest to encourage wizards to want to take more than one short rest per day.

Luck feels awkward and more confusing then inspiration without much benefit.

Some bad spells haven’t had any changes (find traps (make concentration, shorten the range, and have it last an hour) bark skin (drop concentration or change the effect to something better), true strike (at least have it give you advantage on the next attack roll you make before the end of your next turn that way you can use it on the same turn with a bonus action spell or with action surge)

On a whim, I decided to spend the $10 on the TotV Alpha because a) I was curious and b) I do want to "reward" Kobold for taking a stand against WotC by using ORC for this project.

I like the fighter a lot, and I think all 4 the classes have at least one interesting tweak. Monster stat blocks are lean, including interesting abilities. Splitting races into mix-and-match Lineage and Heritage is a good idea.

It looks like Luck and Doom are the main new mechanics, both of which seem interesting. I especially like how Doom gives the GM formal tools instead of assuming they will fudge.

All in all it is an interesting, if safe, take on standard 5E and would probably be worth running a playtest over the course of a half dozen sessions. With the playtest responses due by early September, though, I'm not likely to get the chance.

Thanks Reynard!

Really liking the monster stat blocks! I love how Perception and Stealth are right out there, and how terse everything is inside of the stat block.

I hope that some of the additional material found in monster entries in Monstrous Menagerie (A5E) and Monster Overhaul (Skerples) find their way into future monster entries in Tales of the Valiant.
