I enjoy twee and twee-adjacent, especially if it is blended with some darkness, fairy tale style. Wild Beyond the Witchlight is one of my favorite 5e adventures. I know Planescape is supposed to be grim, but I am looking forward to this Gaiman-esque version of Planescape with Yetis selling ice-cream.
If I hear that this book (well, set) is packed with Gaiman-style strangeness and whimsy, I will be picking it up for sure.

I absolutely loathe actual twee (twee-adjacent is very different), I have to say. It ruins everything with endless saccharine stupidity and the worst kind of mindless overly-upbeat whimsy. For me actual twee always hits a discordant note, because it's almost always the result of a failure of some kind.

The original Planescape was notable for managing to avoid being twee despite containing a lot of themes that are frequently twee-adjacent.

For the most part Neil Gaiman manages to avoid twee too, though adaptations of his works or works inspired by his works frequently plunge into swimming pools full of twee face-first.

Thank you - that is very helpful. I have to think about this and if and how I might integrate the outlands into my setting. I've used Sigil, but I never have had the Outlands as a thing in my setting before. It sound interesting enough to ponder its inclusion.
I used it to begin my old AD&D Planescape campaign, with players getting involved in a town that was in a tug of war between Abyssal/demonic/chaotic forces & Arcadian/angelic/lawful forces. The town, Antekh, moved around over the course of the first half of the campaign, based on actions the PCs took & some other events. There was a section early only where a PC time traveled back in time to intervene in a small way during a critical event, and then that butterfly effect snowballed during the campaign. I also showcased the Outlanda becoming a battleground for the Blood War, and the non- conventional tactics & alliances that were made. Eventually the PCs helped the town shift into Arcadia, and were rewarded with numerous blessings & magics & henchmen.

Can you get those preorder - I thought they were store exclusives? Maybe I need to go to my FLGS and put an order in!
If this hasn't been suggested yet: I've started getting my special covers from Miniature Market online.

I'd grab them from my local game store, but I'm not giving that place my business again.

Looking at Morte's and the DM screen I think I see Cranium Rats on Morte's, on DM Screen I think I see a Time Dragon, a lava dinosaur, what looks like a fire elemental, some lava devils/demons/mephits near the lava dinosaur, what I think are Agathion Angel (even more of a shapeshifter then Devas, can take the form of a magic weapon), what looks like a Battle Force Angel from GMGtR, some less distinct and odd looking angels at that floating city which seems connected to a cloud giants castle by a bridge, some long noses fiend on the far side of the screen, a stone turtle's head and a face on a mountain, and in the corner above the Walking Castle is a Spelljammer!!!
