Legend
I’ve made it to the bestiary now.

I’ll need to go back and check, but it looks like there’s one magic item for each giant rune (plus a few that don’t have a rune, like Bigby’s bracelet). Each rune item comes with a 1/day “invoke rune” property. They’re all pretty cool items that I could see myself using in a game. (They’re also different to the rune items from SKT insofar as none of them allow you to transfer the rune.)

Another thing I noticed was a slight wording change around conditions (although it’s been inconsistently applied in this book). Instead of saying that a feature knocks someone prone or stuns them or whatever, it indicates that they ‘have’ that condition. For the most part it’s fine, but I did notice one or two instances where saying that the target ‘has the prone condition’ comes across as awkward language use.
When you get a chance let us know how the giant scions work. Thank you in advance!

I can inform you.

Giant Scions are massive Giants that are the ancient direct children of the Giant Gods. They are powerful Titans that in many worlds are slumbering. While sleeping they are inside a powerful Elemental called a Cradle, which fulfils the sleeping Scion's subconscious wishes. (normally squashing intruders who disturb the Scions rest).

As a result while you can use the Scions on their own, you can also have a round 1 against the Cradle that releases the awakened Scion when it dies. The Cradle's are around the same level of power as the Scion but fight differently. The Scions and their Cradles are CR 22 to 27 Hill at the lowest and Storm as the highest.

Do you want any other details?

Here's one of the 'examples' on Twitter

Honestly, I'm not seeing it.

With the caveat that I don't actually have the book and am mostly working from memory of some of their promotional material/interviews, I think the first pic is of a "Frostmourn", which is to say a kind of undead frost giant, and in that context it looks fine.

The only thing that looks even remotely weird to me is the giant's foot in the second pic, and that could just be an odd angle that didn't work out or even the giant using the equivalent of a peg-leg.

"People on Reddit" was your first mistake. There are no people on Reddit. Omly algorithms, and those who seek to please them.
"People on Reddit" also posted intentionally false information to get internet "news sites" that use AI to scrape popular subreddits for topics and fan-reaction material to publish an article on the highly anticipated addition of "Glorbo" to both World of Warcraft and, I believe, Destiny 2.
