FYI, Nerd Immersion's live-tweeting details from the Planescape panel at GenCon.

EDIT: Not much in the way of new information, but a fair bit of new art.

Below image supposedly shows the Gate-Town of Tradegate.

As a note, no idea whether the center portion of the below image is meant to be current day or a notable scene from the past, but it clearly shows both Duke Rowan Darkwood and Hashkar (pre-FW Factols of the Fated and Fraternity of Order respectively, both of whom died as a result of the Faction War) along with Rhys (pre-FW Factol of the Transcendent Order, who survived by skipping town and stepped down as Factol after returning post-FW). Far right seems to be a Cranium Rat swarm masquerading as a humanoid. No idea about the mouse-person on the left.

Seemingly portraying a Shator (or possibly Kelubar) Gehreleth/Demodand.

Love those pictures, especially of the demodand, which haven't had much art over the years.

The mouse-type creature? Maybe a musteval guardinal? Although they're supposed to be more ferret-like than mouse-like. It very much is reminiscent of the pose of the mustival from 3e art, as seen here: Musteval

Hmm, even that article says "mouse-like". So if it is a musteval, someone got their information from that article instead of from the 3e The Book of Exalted Deeds - and missed the origin of the word, which is from the ferret's scientific classification: Mustela furo (genus Mustela is equivalent to weasels). But even if they've got the inspiration wrong (and it's not a huge difference anyway), it's at least a good sign that the guardinals will be appearing in this book.

The big take way for me is that the beastairy isn't just new Monsters, it's stuff like traits and ideas and stuff for making ANY monster Planar. I suspect this is how they will handle petitioners, instead of just making a basic petitioner stat they will using a bunch templates like the traits to take other creatures (say humaniods, giants, fey, dragons, beasts, maybe monstrosities) and turn them into different kinds of petitioners with a trait, might even change their creature type in some cases.
