It's really just James Ohlen's homebrew to tie his work from Bioware into the current rules.
I mean, sure, but WotC also published the book under their label on DMsGuild as a ~$15 charity tie in. If they had enough confidence in it to do that, I see little reason for them not to eventually port it over to Beyond as well like they have with several of their other charity tie-in products.

Sure, it's possible, but that wouldn't make it any more or less "official." The Extra Life stuff is explicitly not fully developed stuff.

Not saying it has to be "official" or "canon", just that I think it's a decent supplement that has a reasonable chance of making it onto Beyond sooner or later, if their decisions to release other Extra Life products on Beyond is anything to go by.

But... that is an anthro mouse. A Musteval is, as the name implies, is an anthro weasel.

According to FR wiki Musteval look are Anthro mice with art to back it up.

That art is from The Book of Exalted Deeds, which describes them as:

"This slim humanoid creature has the elongated snout, tufted ears, and furtive eyes of a ferret. It has slender limbs, white fur covering its body, and pink eyes."

They may have been changed into anthro mice for this edition, but that certainly wasn't the original intention.

Yeah, as I said above, the writer of the wiki apparently went off the picture and never read the original text. So if this is a musteval, the writer here made the same mistake, or even just took the info from the wiki. I mean, it's not a huge deal (the musteval is of 3e vintage and only appeared in print once, so it's not like this is ruining books worth of tradition), just a little weird.
