I own alot of guitars and I have 3 or 4 go tos that I play regularly, others that sit on a wall and get played only once in a while. That Ibanez is in the latter category. I played it quite a bit when I first got it then kind of overlooked it. The tubes in my amp at the time were stock and got pretty bad reviews so that probably made the pickups seem muddier. Now that I changed the tubes the amp sounds much better. When I was considering changing the PUPs in the Tele I got coming I played the Bare Knuckles and came to the conclusion after hearing them through better, clearer tubes that they aren't for me. I'm not saying they're bad, just probably not a good fit for my rig.
Not sure if these are the same as the ones I have but damn they could fetch a hefty price. I'll have to do some more research on them
Bare Knuckle Aftermath 7 Set in Battleworn Black with Burnt Chrome Bolts! Absolutely killer pickups that will cut through any mix! Had these installed for a month and they we just a bit bright in the guitar I had them in. Bought brand new in July from Bare Knuckle.
