Clark grew up on a farm, throwing hay bales around and using farm equipment with the power to shred a human to bits, even before his powers fully manifested. He's driven pick-up trucks (earlier than 16, too, because they're farm vehicles) which means -- unless Snyder's Pa Kent is as bad of a driver's ed instructor as he is a father -- that he's also had the discussion of, if you have to crash a vehicle, how to do the least harm when doing so.

The idea that Clark doesn't understand how to be careful with dangerous power is bizarre. I don't have superpowers and I know that. And I didn't even have to kill a single alien general with my bare hands.

Your perception of this is so radically different than mine here I don't see a further exchange being useful. I expressed my opinion as to what's going on in the post you responded to; if you disagree, you do.

I just wish Supe's daddy could have gotten 2 USBs at the Krypton gadget store instead of just 1. It took him almost no time to download his own AI.

Didn't they know how important moms were to kids.

And thank goodness for that.

Unpopular opinion time:

The last thing settings need are pages and pages of setting wank. Give me encounter areas, with stats and whatnot, that I can actually use. Don’t give me more than a base framework for a setting.

The adventure path is the best way to showcase a setting.
The last thing settings need are pages and pages of actual setting seems like an odd position to take, but it is the unpopular opinion thread.

People who say they like all types of music actually like no types of music.
I've long decided that I can't care about music. I've got enough other hobbies and media to invest myself in and something has to give.

Thus, if it doesn't have catchy, easily singable lyrics and a deeply approachable 4-on-the-floor beat, I don't care and don't want to hear it.

I like all types of music. That doesn't mean I like every bit of music I hear, but generally speaking I can find something to bop to in just about any type of music. I don't really listen to rap on a regular basis, but I'm always happy to hear Slick Rick's "Children's Story" or D.J. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Parents Just Don't Understand" because I'm old AF.

I also don't know many wiccans -- although you had more at your table than I know personally -- who would have gotten offended at "witch" references.
I think it's less that they would have gotten offended at "witch" references and more that they would have gotten offended by the idea that (all) witches render fat out of babies.
