Ahsoka - SPOILERS

Now that some of it has sunk it, it was painful to watch the young Ahsoka being part of the Siege of Mandalore and cutting them all down. I don't know how much of this was shown previously in Clone Wars, but if this were general knowledge, I don't see how Sabine could ever be her friend or how Din could ever work with her or even be around her.
Those Mandalorians were from the Deathwatch. The siege was meant to recover Mandalore from them and reseat Republic friendly ruler Bo-Katan. Ahsoka was on the way back to Coruscant from that mission when order 66 happened.

Was an ok episode 3/5Dialogue was good but nitpicking
Some of the Anakin moments felt strange
The battles felt like they were on a stage and it felt like they were missing a special effect that the better movies and other scenes had
The x wing pilot talking to the commander. I liked the scene but it also felt dumb. Plus mon mothma sending the ships but then their actual
Orders felt forced

Agree with others the kid wasn’t the typical rebellious walk of and get into trouble which probably goes back to early television days etc. going to assume we don’t see them again

I did liek the:

New Republic Council: We don't have resources to send an expedition to the planet.
Also NRC: We have the resources to send 3 full cruisers just to escort you back home.

Now ultimately the NRC does have to make a point, you can't just have generals disobeying the leadership. But 1 cruiser would have more than sufficed, 3 is a show, and a waste of resources.

Nothing the New Republic does makes any sense. They’re utterly incompetent and riddled with Imperial loyalists. It’s really quite sad. But I suppose they have to be that way to justify the sequel trilogy.

What else are you going to do with Imperial loyalists? Execute them? At the height of the Empire, billions if not trillions of people would have collaborated in a variety of ways. You can't just get rid of them all.

That was my take as well. It was fun to watch, and I think they did a decent job of "for those in teh know, its the world between worlds, for everyone else....its just a force vision".

I "think" they were focusing on her survivor's guilt and how she was basically a child soldier, then soldier for most of her life, and she wants to be more than that. But I didn't really any get "resolution" either. I guess beating "dark Anakin" was her overcoming her own demons? Yeah was pretty confused there overall.

I will say the scene where she's in the smoke and you see the clone troopers start to run past her was really well done, the transition there was chef's kiss.

Beating dark Anakin wasn’t the point. Not killing him was the point. You can’t kill ghosts. The point was that Ahsoka kept trying to either run away from or kill her past.
