Ahsoka - SPOILERS

Some thoughts on Baylan's personal quest:

Objective: He want's to end the cycle of jedi-sith-jedi-sith victories.

Means 1) He wants a grey-side victory. So he is looking for the Bindu (voiced by Tom Baker in animation), the incarnation of the grey side. This is interesting because the Bindu has a bone to pick with Thrawn, and hence could be the wild card that is needed to defeat him.

Means 2) He wants to destroy the Force all together. This would made him a version of Kreia (KotOR2). It might be significant that Darth Sion was also a character from KotOR2. If he is partially successful, managing to damage the Force, it would explain "The Force Awakens" (I didn't know it had been asleep).

KoToR2 theory is kinda doing the rounds along with the being calling to him is based off Abeloth aka the mother of those force gods father, son, daughter.

Coukd also be something new or based on another entity borrowed from Legends.

My sneaky suspucion is Thawn outsmarted Ahsoka and "gets the win" and season ends with him in hyperspace back to the galaxy.

Could also happen end of next episode.
That's the interesting thing about the second half of this series. The first half was inevitable, since we knew Tharwn and Ezra where in the show. The second half could go in any direction, from Thrawn returning, Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra stranded, Hera court-marshalled; to Thrawn dead, Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra return in triumph and save Hera; or anything in between. It's about as open as it could be.

Thrawn’s not going to die in this show. Both Ahsoka and The Mandalorian are building up to a movie that will most likely conclude with Thrawn’s final defeat.

Yup.

They also need to show him kicking the NR in the love spuds as well.

One would think they would do another season. One season, movie defeat not a great plotline.

We don't know that Thrawn is the BBEG in the Ahsoka-Mando crossover movie. That's just fan speculation.

All we know is that Thrawn is gone by The Force Awakens.

No plot-armour for the Grand Admiral.

Well, we know that Thrawn isn't involved in The Force Awakens. There's no reason he isn't knocking about by that point. Although, he'd be considerably older. Isn't there about 20 years between Ahsoka and TFA? ((I keep having a hard time keeping up with the timeline)).

But, in any case, there's no reason that Thrawn can't still be around. He's just not involved in those movies.

Sure there is. He wants the galaxy stable. He isn't just going to sit it out, and he can't "be around" without having a significant impact on events. And Palpatine wants him dead. So if he aint dead he is still stuck in a different galaxy.
