D&D 5E Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Brandes Stoddard has received a copy of Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse (which come out in two weeks!) and is posting loads of photos over on Blue Sky. You can check out his feed for the whole treasure trove--here's a look at the table of contents.

• I think I can accept the faction layout they chose happily (even if I think the OG 15 would've been the better move )
• Glad that they're focusing on Sigil and the Outlands (and leaves room for a Manual of the Planes later down the line to be a more "General D&D thing")
• This art is gorgeous.
• A little disappointed that there's no racial stats, but only a little - Sigil the Melting Pot means all races are kosher and also it's not too hard to homebrew rogue modron (autognome base) or bariaur (centaur / minotaur base).

Over half the Gate Towns didn't get anything beyond being mentioned in the list in the original box set.

I remember Xaos thing as a Gatetown was that it was sometimes called Axos, Soax, Osax, Soxa and so on, but not much else. And I barely remember much about many of the Gatetowns to the Upper Planes except Tradegate.

Hoping for ToC of the monster book

Hmmm. 4-5 pages per Ward. Not sure how I feel about that, you'd think a ward would be pretty expansive and have a lot of places/points of interest within it. Also looks like 2 page spreads per Gatetown, probably with a half-page picture I'd presume. Need to check against what sort of diatribe each Gatetown got in the ol' boxed set.

I'd actually like less, and more on gate towns
