Last time I went to the theater, it cost over $30 (pre-COVID inflation!), it was absurd. The cost-bwnefit is non-existant with 4K TVs now.
Like I said, $20 nets me ten prep-paid movie tickets. Not that I don't enjoy streaming, but my internet is just not there. I still use ADSL. The cost of fiber to support a 4k TV would be like $30 if not $50 a month.

Goodness gracious, $2 USD for a movie ticket? That's lower than we were paying in 1992...

If it was mentioned already and I missed it, what is their rate of release for most product?

I used to be a little excited about superhero stuff…it is not a statement for me but I have habituated to those releases. We have paramount and Disney…I will see when I see it…I enjoy some when they come out but feel no pressure.

I really liked the 2nd spider verse movie. My wife said it’s on tv and it’s good. Ok. Nothing else going on. It was enjoyable.

I may be getting old as dirt…but other than D&D I am over saturated with media and now…don’t care as much.

Not sure if this habituation is impacting the general consumer or not. But I don’t think this is about the economy wholly

Roughly they released twice as much content post endgame as phase 1-3 combined apparently.

He's slashed 2/3rds of it'ds value and that was before his current dribble.
Likely overinflated in this first place. He slashed more than 50% of the workforce with the doomsday alarmists crying how it wouldn't function.
Can you imagine another company where you could just remove 50% of their workforce, no issues?
Seems like good-ol Jack, CEO extraordinaire, was paying a lot of people to sit on their arse in a company that was riddled with bots.

And that is before the revelations which were uncovered for the period during good-ol' Jack's tenure.

As for Disney, they'll be just fine with their creative accounting and multiple divisions/departments.
