Another thing that came up in the interviews I watched is that Jennell Jaquays preferred the term "referee" to Game/Dungeon "Master" because that term has some negative connotations.
What are your thoughts on that?
It's fine for non-D&D games, but the wrong term for D&D and not a term she invented for D&D.

I don't think she claimed to have invented the term?
At least in the video I just watched (filmed last May) I think she notes she did not invent TSR's "Dungeon Master" or Judges' Guild "Judge", but simply prefers to use the word Referee for various reasons.

Sure we were discussing a term with her name in it earlier and I was clarifying this issue is very different as she played no role in the term naming.

I get using referee instead of judge. But it's really clear in the post I was responding to this was about the word "master" in the term "Dungeon Master" and not about the word "judge." And in that context, I don't agree with her because it's a very defined term for D&D specifically and would be confusing.

Here is the quote again:

Alexander comes off as really self-serving here. His original post on "Xandering" implies that Jaquays agreed to the change after a "back and forth" conversation, but now after getting called out he confirms that the conversation was just between him and his publisher. Then he names the idea after himself as he's trying to sell a new book. Just a bad look for him.

Yes, I think she was addressing how Judges Guild used the term "Judge" and how she preferred "Referee" today.

Bro, this is the quote from you I responded to, where you do not mention the word "judge" at all but specifically mention "dungeon master" and put scare quotes around the word "master" to make it super clear that's the objection and then you double down on clarity by saying "because that term has some negative connotations" regarding the word "master" and not "judge.
