I have a PC who's a halfling orphan. Where are there communities of halflings that his family might have originated from? The party is currently going to Seaquen and I want to try to interweave his backstory into the travel.
Found mostly along the rivers and byways of Ostalin and Sindaire, the halflings of the lands sometimes leave the west in search of adventure and treasure. Though once halflings were generally quite well traveled, the unrest in Ostalin has concentrated the population in that country because it presents the best hope for them to start a nation of their own. As the country continues in strife, the halflings work with some factions in Sindaire to destabilize the kingdom even further.
The monestary of two winds is between Ostilin and Sindair. Does the AP go there at some point? Maybe I can tie it in there...From the player's guide page 16:
Yes, in adventure 5. Check the timeline in the campaign guide. I would recommend reading the rest of the campaign as you are able, even if it is just the introduction at the beginning of each adventure. EN Publishing's campaigns reward you richly for having that extra bit of preparation. The monestary of two winds is between Ostilin and Sindair. Does the AP go there at some point? I totally agree with reading the campaign in total to get a better overall idea of what is happening where. I admit that I skimmed the publications, went back and read the summaries, and still missed quite a few opportunities to foreshadow events and build in backstories.Yes, in adventure 5.
