You do realise that cops who murder suspects rather than arresting them are not the good guys?
this isn't at all the same, is it? His life was in danger the whole time, he wasn't unarmed, given he was a force user. He was still a threat. And then they tried to kill him anyway with the bugs.

but, again, my point is mostly that it is the same story, the same as Obi. Just give us a new story.

Yeah I don't think the Young Adult category really applies to a movie like Star Wars (which was definitely meant to appeal to broad age ranges). The main characters are all pretty all adults or entering into adulthood.
Luke is 19 in ANH

YA age range is 18-25

And ofcourse YA is literature, not movies. I think Acolyte in particular is really influenced by YA, and I don't find it a "marketing" catagory any more than I regard pulp as a marketing category, nor Soap Opera, nor adult, nor drama, nor comedy, nor noir.

I figure that the twins will both be "betrayed" by their masters. Oshie will learn the other halves of the story, as will Mae. When they do, their turn will be complete. Because I dont' think anyone is totally in the wrong on Brendok. Except for the sith.

The whole episode was just delicious to watch, and I was impressed equally with the physical performances as well as the dramatic performances.

But I enjoy the tropes of YA literature, in particular the concept of dark twins.

And I enjoy the hamstringing of the jedi. They are the cops, and I don't want my cops just murdering people without due process, regardless of who they are. That is kinda evil.
