newbies guide for Fallout 4

Ooh! Good to know. I’ve been past there a few times but haven’t gone in yet.

I have a few bowling balls. One is a championship ball. I’ve got that on display along with a championship pin. I don’t remember where I got them. Were they part of the Jamaica Plain treasure?

Probably Jamaica Plains.

Fun baseball bat as well can be inconvenient.

Lasers are great mid levels get weaker later on.

But yeah if you get a favorite weapon it's hard to use anything else.
I'm now level 80+, and I haven't noticed it to be too weak. But then I've also maxed out the Commando perk, so I'm doing a lot more damage with Unlimited Potential, since it's an auto-laser. I've also fully upgraded it.

It's definitely my go-to weapon, especially since I've got thousands of fusion cells, so no need to worry about running out of ammo.

Occasionally I'll get out a different weapon, as Unlimited Potential is no good for sniping, for instance.

I also got the Explosives perk that gives me the throwing arc so I can aim grenades better. That's always fun and helps get enemies behind cover.

And yet, despite Unlimited Potential + frag grenades being my main weapons of choice, I'm still overloaded with random weapons (as are Piper and Dogmeat). I've got them all "just in case", I guess.

Unlimited potential is a decent weapon. If it was on a tier list probably a B.

Enery resistance is fairly common though and plasma weapons deal close to double damage. Energy cells are fairly abundant though. They're also light which is really good on survival mode where ammo has weight.

With automatics though explosive, wounding, kneecapping and furious are the powerful legendary effects. I've had a wounding and kneecapping laser rifle before.

Old faithful is really good for semi automatic lasers and Danse has a good one the righteous authority.

I think I gave my Righteous Authority to Sturges. I have a whole slew of plasma weapons but I prefer Unlimited Potential.
