D&D General Which non-D&D races would like to see in Dungeons and Dragons?

The Goa'uld are evil snake-things that imbed in you body, wrap around your spine, and take over your brain. Do ing so grants some physical advantages to the host but the goa'uld gains complete control. They use their advanced technology to pose as gods. A DnD version would be powerful spellcasters. They're almost always evil for complicated lore reasons.

The Jaffa are their warriors - they have immature goa'uld in their bellies which make them immune to disease and generally much healthier.
would the Tsochar work for the top?

more aberrations need bulky minion monsters which the jaffa sort of are if I recall correctly other than the one who sides with the heroes who has a cool voice.

I think it's a fourth wall break. There's no way to bring in Wookies without evoking Star Wars, IMO. Or Klingons without evoking Star Trek, and so on. Some species are so strongly identified with a particular IP that as soon as you bring them in you irrevocably alter the audience's frame of reference. It's like if Darth Vader showed up as a BBEG in my D&D campaign.

It's not a question of being "out there." It's a question of already having a strongly recognizable and very distinct context. Indiana Jones is not really "out there" as a concept, but if I plop him into a game, it will transform the narrative into something completely different.
personally, i'm not seeing it, fill a world with wookies, yodas(i don't know his species' name), klingons and vulkans, it's not going to turn your campaign into something unrecognisable to DnD.

no one knows what yodas people are called Lucas was clear on that, hell people in-universe are equally as lost.
vulkans would just be elves who are less insufferably prideful and far more practical to work with.
ever strong race in fantasy has next gen Klingon in them these days

Something like that, except they can pull off being seen as a living god so much, much stronger. But the pic is close enough (actually slightly better)

Jaffa look human (big dudes but would pass for human if not for the scarification) and are mostly soldiers. Some are other ranking servants like majordomos or governors, but even those seem to be former soldiers promoted into noncombat administrative roles. Obviously in a DnD setting they could be any race and would probably have a lot more variety than SyFy's budget had allowed.

a bigger higher level option for them is childs play but would be helpful.

eh I would have both a broad template option for the jaffa and some special clearly well-liked option for when they need specialised roles fulfilled also helps pad out the book.
