D&D General Which non-D&D races would like to see in Dungeons and Dragons?

Probably true seeing as I know literally nothing about them but that doesn’t make my point any less true does it really? You can very much have interesting stories about the rag-tag group of misfits solving dirt farmer’s goblin issues while the practicality living gods ‘true heroes’ battle dimensional invaders and the end of the world in the background.
Not really the plot of Stargate SG-1 though, so it would be really weird to add yhay in in season three

For reference, the humans had alreafy killed Ra, Apep, and Hathor - the Tok’ra anti-gods had failed to do anything because they let the perfect Be the enemy of the good.

who are they?

Races slavered by the evil aliens Hrangans.

Dan'lai are like foxfolk from G.R.R Martin's "the Stone City".

But I can't see what they are special beyond their exotic names. Hasbro can create lots of humanoid species for their IPs.

who are they?
Other creatures from the same IP that the githyanki originally came from in which the Hruun, Dactyloids, and Githyanki were all involved in an ancient war against humanity.

The dan'lai are in the same IP (and were not involved with the war). They have a vibe that I would describe as a cross between a fairy and a vogon (except they're also fox-like so I guess it would be a cross between a kitsune and a vogon). In The Stone City the protagonist eventually snaps after months of dealing with seemingly identical dan'lai bureaucrats working at a vaguely dreamlike soaceport who accomplish nothing and mock his problems in a singsong voice
