There's a lot of small nerfs to Bladelock, compared to the UA builds. Blade Pact no longer enables Mastery traits. The third attack costs yet another invocation. Lifedrinker is limited to once per turn. There's no easy and economical way to get Medium Armor or Shields.

It's enough that the next time I want to play a gish, I'm almost certainly going to go with Eldritch Knight Fighter instead. I'm not saying that Bladelock is dead, but it's been narrowed down considerably into something I personally am less interested in playing.

Weird that they would go to all that effort, instead of just removing the 3rd attack...

Magic Initiate lets you use Shillelagh as Int, Wis, or Cha.
Along with goodberry.

So hexblade dip has some competition.

Straight hexblade with 3 attacks is looking potent though.

Hey folks, I'm sitting here in a stadium in Indiana with a little time to kill. AMA about anything you want to know, and I will look it up!

Also, yes, we have an index!View attachment 374940

Two big questions:

1. Any changes to the Shield spell?

2. Any changes to Cantrips scaling with multiclassing?

I just want to make sure the broken parts of the game are still broken. :p

I believe any Warlock gets Charisma on attacks with pact of Blade (could be wrong). I would think this would make Hexblade obsolete, especially since you would not get Hex Warrior until level 3.

@DavyGreenwind could you please post the exact wording of the invisibility spell? Greater Invisibility would be appreciated as well if you don’t mind, but at least the former. I think it may be crucial in clearing up some ambiguity about the stealth rules. Thank you very much!
