I really, really hate 'spectral wings' as a replacement for actual wings. They're almost as bad a flavor to me as the whole 'spirit animals' deal.

Everything's a hologram now.
🤷‍♀️ doesn’t bother me.
But I thought they were draconic humanoids? Mammals gotta express milk.

Or they get kicked out of the club.
I mean, not strictly true, as playpus (platypuses?) prove. More importantly though, in a fantasy setting, “humanoid” doesn’t have to mean “mammal.”

Yeah, I definitely agree. I don't need wings on the dragonborn, but if they have them, they need to be physical. The whole point of the wings is that they have them because the dragons do, and dragons have physical wings. Spectral wings might make sense on aasimar and such.

If they were to have wings, they ought to be like the Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline)'s Dragon Wings feature. Physical, but magical.
