Next question does Mirage Arcana having tactile elements mean it could bear weight? It
Looks like this was answered by Jem.

So mirage Arcana is actually an amazing spell. You could create a full fortress capable of protecting thousands of people with the spell. You could create a bridge wide enough for hundreds of people to cross.

It can’t be disbelieved. Or rather if it is, it is still there and still interacted with.

Also, if a coyote casts mirage arcane of a tunnel in the side of a mountain, can a road runner run though it? And is the coyote hit by an illusionary (but tactile) train?

My understanding is that this spell can’t make something not exist. So they can’t make something invisible or absent. it can create though.

Though it does say it can make a rock strewn rubble into a wide smooth road. I’m guessing it’s by overlaying the road and terrain just above the rubble line.

My players used Hallucinatory Terrain to camouflage the ship they were on.

Back in 1st edition days they used it to channel an advancing army into an ambush.
Both those are cool. And now that you say that, I can think of a time my group should have used it for a similar use but didn't think of it! In fact, I think it might still come in use to hide a pub our party owns in Waterdeep that's been assaulted several times.

I mean you can use it to create an elaborate spired palace of black basalt surrounded by a maze of thorns. Pretty darn cool if you ask me.
