Rings of Power is Back [+] Appreciation

This begs the question - for me, at least: where are they going to put Gandalf during the Last Alliance?
Somewhere amongst the smaller peoples of the world I'd wager, whether hobbit or human, finding and nurturing the steadfastness, compassion and pity that will truly bring an end to Sauron.

Very satisfying season. Looking forward to season 3.

I felt the anti-climatic reveal of Gandalf and how he stumbles on the staff was perfect.

Painted themselves intoa corner. If it's Gandalf it's "duh no bee". If it's not more or less a waste

Fun episode like it. Big improvement over S1. Bigger than say WoT 1-2.

So that can't be Saruman then, right? Because he doesn't 'turn' until LotR. Up until then he's respected as the wisest of the order, and Gandalf willingly defers to him.
Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me otherwise. But this whole show is very alternate from the books (why are Gandalf and his dark buddy even here before the Third Age?), so all bets are off and we have to just go for a ride I guess.

Thought they really stuck the landing with episode 8, the Galadrial, Sauron, Celebrimbor, Adar and Durin plot lines were all A+. Elrond, Numenier, the Hobbits and Gandolph I'd give a solid B.

I would give your Bs a lower grade (at least Gandalf's IMO), but otherwise I agree. Generally quite a strong offering.
