D&D General You Can Now Make Greyhawk Stuff On DM's Guild!

As of today, third party creators can publish and sell material set in the World of Greyhawk! Dating back to the dawn of Dungeons & Dragons, Greyhawk has an entire chapter devoted to it in the new 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide.

Right now you can check out some legacy official content from Wizards of the Coast, but expect more to start appearing there as soon as the third party creators get their teeth into it.

That is incorrect, the author gets 50% and WotC and DTRPG split the other 50%

30% OneBookShelf
20% WotC

Except your right to distribute it elsewhere. And the right for other DMSG creators to use your content. I support the DMsG, but it's important to read the license agreement.

The material @Greyhawk Grognard put together back in the day uses WotC IP, so this would be the only way to distribute it.

Well they don't have the right to distribute WotC IP anywhere except the Guild, so those aren't really a loss.

Not exactly. It can be released for free under the Fan Content License. But once it goes up on DMs Guild, it's exclusively there in perpetuity. Hence my indecision as to whether to do it.

You can't sell it by using the fan content license IIRC.
