D&D General Greyhawk Humanocentricism?

It's just preference. I just thought of 2-3 ways to introduce warforged to Greyhawk but I just don't want to do it. I even like the warforged, I just don't need them in every setting.
i didn't even mean you or anyone else specifically, but there seems to be this surprisingly strong pervasive belief that warforged ought to stay in ebberon, despite the fact that they are DnD's very iconic manifestation of a highly popular archetype, i think it's actually a shame they're so tied up in the lore of ebberon because if they weren't i think they'd be a far more familiar sight and be a popular choice of species.

Not warforged per se.

Every setting of note spotlighted a relative handful of new races. It's basically what makes those setting stand out. What's not included also matters.

Even in 4E you had Dragonborn and Tieflings being more prominent than splatbook number 5 whatever.

Mystara has Tortles, Darksun Kreen and Half Giants, Eberron Warforged and Shifters, Krynn has Kenders, Ravenloft half vampires etc.

If you want to play anything FR or Eberron may appeal. Tortles not best choice for Ravenloft.

I guess alot of the significance passes me by due to me being too young at the time and not knowing about DND when those generations were happening.

More modern example.

MCU vs DC.
WoT vs RoP
Taylor Swift vs Ed Sheridan.

Whatever one you like better (or none) do you want them to be the same?

Theros vs Eberron
Ravenloft vs Ravnica
Exandria vs Spelljammer

Make sense now?

Turtles can't be sad in pulp gothic ironic hell?

It is really weird how people hold Ravenloft up to be serious given how it's one of the goofier settings, what with it's Epcot Center of Universal Horror tropes.

Ravenloft is based off things like Frankenstein and Bram Stoker vs typical fantasy tropes.

Tortles originate in Mystara which wasn't very serious.

Yeah, that's my point: Ravenloft is also no way serious. My introduction was a story about a dude that turns into a cat man. There's multiple full throated zombie apocalypse pastiches. The world is literally run by nebulous Dark Forces that enforce Ironic Hell. And it thought it was real funny with the entire existence of the Vistani. It is a Gothic Horror Theme Park Ride and that's the fun part.

Also, the origin of a species does not dictate its use.

All I'm saying is just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I'm going to be way more restrictive in Darksun vs FR for example.

Oh I can definitely appreciate curation for theme and identity, I definitely understand that much, but what I originally meant was more how, warforged kind of get stuck as ebberon’s as this “this is the token dedicated ‘science fantasy setting’ quarantine” mindset, like, people just seem to resist more letting the robot people set foot in any traditional fantasy setting when alot of those other species seem to of permeated the general setting sphere easily enough while warforged...haven’t.

Like psionic brain eating mini-cthulus who tool around in space ships, visiting from the end of time and seem to be contractually obligated to appear in every adventure?

Yeah, it's weird that the sapient golems are the 'step too far' when it comes to breaching the sci-fi/fantasy membrane that didn't even exist when most of the much-vaunted Appendix N was written.

Extra fun when one thinks about how staunchly defended the caster system that is literally post-apocalyptic wetware programming in the original text by the same folks.
