I wish they would either find a different way of tracking time for these things to account for settings, like the Forgotten Realms, that don't use a 7-day week, or change the FR's calendar so that it is based on a 7-day week instead of a 10-day one. Because it can be a real pain adapting these things when running games in FR (and settings like it). (At least with many of the 2014 downtime rules, they were based on 5-day increments, so you could rule that two activities could be accomplished per 10-day "week".)
It may just be that the FR books coming out next year will clarify this due to the difference. In the meantime, I would personally just go "Tenday = Week" as I do with so much else.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet (I had technical difficulties with my account today), but Graz'zt's realm is called Azzagrat again! Also, the planes all have layers again!!

To ne fair, they do have the Greyhawk week in this book, which is conveniently 7 days with renamed days...

I've deep-skimmed (between a quick skim and full read) the first three chapters, and man, it's sooooo much better than the 2014 version, organized a lot better and filled with really useful info that will be invaluable for new DMs and often helpful for veterans.

Also, they keep up the running joke in Chapter Three with an illustration of the cartoon characters that states in the caption that Sheila is there, but, of course, she's nowhere to be seen in the actual picture! She does, however and to her misfortune, get a solo picture where she's quite visible, and being attacked by green slime dripping from above.

Yes, the next year's FR books are an opportunity to change the Calendar of Harptos. They probably won't but ...

Yeah. It's really only an issue with FR. Off the top of my head, Eberron also has 7-day weeks (with renamed days). Not sure about DragonLance or any of the other settings.

I just feel like with FR having a different calendar system, it's an opportunity either to lean into it - make it a defining point of difference for the setting - or just get rid of it because it just causes trouble.

Thank you, much appreciated! With the multiplier for several monsters being gone, I could see at least more hordey encounters being some sort of a challenge with these budgets. (I still worry for the solos.) I also recall something about them scaling more on higher levels... Could you perhaps do a similar comparison for, say, level 17?

Here’s a screengrab of the table from the YouTube video before it was taken down.

2014 for comparison

They got rid of the Easy category. The budgets are the same up to level 5, then they start to increase.
