"There are multiple matches for Scotland Yard, including the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service in London, a board game, and a restaurant.

  • The headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service
The official name of the headquarters is New Scotland Yard, and it's responsible for policing Greater London. The name comes from the street Great Scotland Yard, which was once the entrance to the original headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service. The headquarters have moved several times over the years, but the current location is the Curtis Green Building on Victoria Embankment in Westminster.

  • A board game
The board game Scotland Yard has been adapted for many platforms, including Game Boy, Philips CD-I, Windows, Nintendo DS, iPhone, and Android.

  • A restaurant in Toronto
Scotland Yard is a British pub and restaurant in Toronto that serves bar food, including nachos. It also offers bottomless mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM–1 PM."
Yes, it's a restaurant in Toronto. Well done.

Sorry, but I'm not joining yet more social media, I already refuse to join tik tok, it's too many [emoji2957]

I don't even post on Twitter.

I watch YouTube videos, that's enough social media.

I hate using face book.

What was wrong with old school forums like this?. Bah humbug.
For those of you who do truly do prefer Enworld over other forms of social media, may I recommend purchasing a Community Supporter package?? Your use of "insert local currency here" to financially support Enworld is the best way to stick it to other sites!

For those of us not so up to date, explain to me what Bluesky is and what it entails.

I think it is something like Twitter (the guy who originally did twitter, started blue sky or something).

Some things indicate it's a gathering of things such as mastadon, but not as centralized as twitter?

However, I'm still not exactly clear on what Bluesky is.

Its a decentralized "not Twitter" created by the guy (among others I'm sure) who created Twitter (he then deleted his Bluesky account?), that folks are moving to from Old Twitter, because of (among other reasons) things we cannot talk about here.

Just like Mastadon, and whatever else came before.
