For those of you on BlueSky, please consider following Bridgy, which allows your account to be followed from Mastodon.

Because BlueSky is not properly federated (yet… they keep promising), Mastodon users can't currently follow and chat with you there, so this provides a way to have both sides interact.
Hey, do you know how to get Threads and Mastodon to actually communicate? I've flipped all the switches to make it happen but cannot see my accounts on the opposite platform, much less actually communicate with anyone with anyone on the far side.

Confirmed: I can't see my Bluesky account on Mastodon either, despite following Bridgy. My server -- despite allegedly being all about that free speech -- isn't connecting to non-Mastodon Fediverse stuff.

If I cared about Mastodon (I don't), I'd move my account to a less-dumb server.

That's probably never going to be seamless, both have different federation protocols and developments.

Just joined and following EN World. Paizo too.

I never joined Twitter, so this is new. Blue Sky looks pretty chaotic and unstructured, unlike a forum.
A lot of seemly random stuff.

Here's hoping that BlueSky is able to maintain it's popularity, and grows large enough to become a viable alternative!
