Yep, 36 years since 5e was launched and our tables are still playing with paper and pencil and real dice (or, when necessary, the online equivalent of form fillable PDFs and Owlbear Retro and... real dice we roll at our own desks using the honor system). Still works well for us!

Assuming everyone got lasik so they can read the books and dice with their old eyes.

I heard in the next edition they are renaming it Parrotloft, which will be a a resort island in which you collect a token for each tropical drink you imbibe and once you have collected all the tokens, YOU WIN!!

Potions of Longevity work too, though at some risk after the first one.

They said VR wasn't mandatory, but all the virtual tabletops force you to use it. And all the new books are subscription only through the same VR services!

At least everyone is allowed to change their race after a long rest, to catch up with modern sensibilities. A long time coming if you ask me.

I mean I love D&D, but now they are saying that our annual performance reviews will be based upon if we win 7E or not. I'm a bit worried that it will be used to gatekeep my next promotion.
