Here's what the 2024 MM's entry on Lizardfolk says: "Lizardfolk dwell in wildernesses suffused with primal magic. While many lizardfolk are Humanoids with varied skills, some forge powerful bonds with the Elemental Plane of Earth, granting them magical connections to the cycle of growth and rebirth."

Lizardfolk Geomancer: "Lizardfolk geomancers draw magic from the natural world, using it to protect their people and territories."

Lizardfolk Sovereign: "Lizardfolk sovereigns undergo magical rites that imbue them with fantastic strength and magic from the Elemental Plane of Earth. In some, though, it also unlocks a primal viciousness."

I find it weird that the conversion guide suggests Berserker (IIRC) for an Eye of Grumsh. I would have imagined them more as a Cultist Fanatic or something.

The Lloth Priestess, they suggest a Fiend(?) Cultist, which probably works fine. In fact, it might be really similar - I have yet to compare them.
Berserker is an Orog, Cultist Fanatic is for Eye of Gruumsh. (Mechanically they were quite similar in 2014)

Also just discovered that Beyond has some extra art. Was going through the Cultist Section and they have extra art of the cultists.
Aberrant Cultist, Hierophant, Fiend Cultist

So Lizardfolk Sovereigns are the former CE demon-touched Lizard King lizard folk with their story changed away from the 1e-5e demon connection to Earth viciousness? Do they still have trident attacks?

No, they have an "earthen maul" attack now. It can knock the target prone on a hit. Skewer is gone, with the temp hit points thing moving to the Sovereign's bite attack instead. It looks like these lizardfolk can't hold their breath underwater anymore as that trait is missing from both statblocks. Otherwise the Sovereign is very similar to the King/Queen.

The Geomancer, on the other hand, is very different to the Shaman. It's very much an earth bender.

I like it, even though I still prefer stock monster statblocks to "choose an NPC statblock."

Is there a special, in-game name for lizardfolk who forge powerful bonds with the Elemental Plane of Earth?

The description makes it sound like Humanoid lizardfolk and Elemental lizardfolk are living side-by-side in the same culture, with the latter group as a specialized variety of the former group. I'm going to be rather disappointed if the book doesn't tell us what (general) lizardfolk call the (Elemental) lizardfolk living in their midst. I'll be equally disappointed if the in-game name is "Elemental lizardfolk."
