How often do you play?

How often do.you play a TTRPG? Note that any venue or format counts -- regular campaign, one shots, cons, VTT, in person, whatever-- but try and get an average.

Of course, feel free to give details in the comments.

I currently run a weekly campaign,play a weekly campaign,and run 4 or 5 sessions at a couple cons a year,plus the occasional one shot or short series (usually to try out a game or learn it to run at daid cons). So I ultimately averaged it out to "more than once per week."

Note that I decided on descriptive terms rather than numbers.

In a game every Sunday night and then a group of buddies does a one shot every other week.

Biweekly gamer for a long time now. Though Covid killed a solid long running group. Sort of recovered since.

Weekly, usually Tuesday or Wednesday night. We start at 7 and go until 10. Using Foondry + Discord. Currently three players + GM (me). Right now we are playing Arden Vul using Shadowdark.

For a while I was also running a bi-weekly Friday night in person game at the FLGS. That game was Savage Worlds.

It evens out to weekly for me, since I run one game bi-weekly, and am in 3 other bi-weekly games (though one just wrapped). They tend to fall on alternating weeks.

It's been my job for a few years now, so 4-7 online sessions per week
Before COVID I was running 2-3 West Marches sessions per week in-person and playing something once every week or two.
I don't like being a player online though, and my job kills my nighttime availability.. Between those two reasons I don't sit in as a player nearly ever.

Weekly online game for 2.5 hrs, rotating GM using Roll20 and Teams. 2-3 weekends per year face-to-face with the same group. Playing D&D4e, Runequest 3e, and Judge Dredd (Mongoose Traveller 1e). GMing Call of Cthulhu and Mongoose Traveller 2e.

Other:

• In-person game (as DM): every 3 to 5 weeks on a Sunday afternoon (sometimes a weekday evening)
• Online game (as DM): every 3 to 5 weeks (Saturday late morning)
• Online game (as player): every 3 weeks. (Wednesday evening)

So that comes to 3 times a month at minimum but sometimes 4 or 5 times a month.

My group meets every Monday on our group Discord channel and makes use of the Virtual Tabletop whenever the session focuses on Exploration and Combat parts of the adventure.
