But Charge Magic Item is more potent than I originally thought.

You can spend a level 1 slot to charge a level 2 spell (i.e. wand of web).

Seems to have been merged into the news thread:

Is it just me or besides the Cartographier is there really not a whole lot in this product that actually feels new instead of just a new way to do the old player options?

Like instead of Dragonmark house subraces, we have Feats! Instead of Changeling, Warforged, Shifter, Kalastar, & Half Elf races we have Changeling, Warforged, Shifter, Kalastar, & Half Elf by another name species!

I'm having a hard time getting excited for this. At least give folks playable Gnolls or something. Some new subclasses maybe beside Cartographier.

At least the FR book has some new to 5e stuff.

So far, it has the remake of the artificer with 5 subclasses. Races may or may not exist.

If you already had the older book then it's less exciting, yes.

Just to note, this is a smaller sized book with a lower price tag. All it is supposed to do is bring the eberron mechanics into the 24 design goals.

We will see the Artificer, updates to the races in the old eberron book, new feats for dragon marks and a few backgrounds. From the sound of the video there will just be a generic house background to grant the dragon marked feat and not separate ones for each house although I hope that I am wrong about that. Also I think we might get a wand slinger and maybe a mage write background.

Personally I am hoping for goblins hobgoblins and gnolls because they are so different that other worlds but I am not going to hold my breath.

I hope they ditch the idea of Shifter lineages, without the stat bumps they're pretty much pointless. Just put all the Shifts into the same pot, like the Aasimar's Celestial Revelations..

How would a Wandslinger or Magewright background work?
