I think that it was a great video that made good points about all three points. The dog piling of people who complain about things in 5e that annoy them, the groups who view their GM like a servant, & the lsn party analogy for players who don't care about if anyone else at the table is having fun as long as they are personally.

I will say as someone who is not completely a "Forever GM" but run the majority of the time for the groups I am in, I am so grateful when someone picks up the mantel and says, "I want to GM X for our next meetup." Mostly it is D&D or some variant of D&D but we also get to play other games.

My gamer wife (and a GM) always says, "Oh, you are watching angry man" when I have one of Matt's videos up. Not because of his emotional state but because of his made for the stage voice and diction.

It’s a good video with good advice, most of which I already know, but it wasn’t meant for folks like me or many of the folks I suspect are going to post here.
