The original Japanese version of Iron Chef was great. It was a great mix of funny translations, over the top tension, and amazing dishes.

Only ever seen clips on FB or Youtube. But theyre a great watch even when you dont understand Japanese

Most of the others are legitimately pretty garbage. "The People's Court" isn't bad. After that it's stuff like "Court TV", with bits of actual cases, and Youtube videos of court proceedings.

Judge Judy's shrill, harpylike voice puts my nerves on edge. I can't even be in the same room when my wife watches her show.

No, but I forgot to mention in my post that I use Jackass and the British variant Dirty Sanches like comfort food. So stupid, so thrashy, so entertaining.

I sometime mess up my YT algorithms by minor binging US gun nut stuff, like Demolition Ranch and such. To me as a northern European that stuff is insane, almost surreal.

My YouTube algorithm is so pristine, perfect and on-point right now that I'm actually terrified to watch anything lest it slide in an incorrect direction!

Really gotta say YouTube did hugely, hugely improve for me when they put in the first round of anti-nazi-rabbithole changes in like, 2019. Previously, if you ever clicked on anything involving guns, even tangentially, or ever clicked on any kind of criticism of videogames, no matter how mild and well-mannered, your recommendations were suddenly like 20-40% weird far-right grifters with videos with titles like "SJWs ruined Mass Effect!!!" and some bearded guy soyfacing next to trollface Shepard or w/e, and this drivel just wouldn't go away. Then suddenly a couple of days after they announced they were changing the algo to prevent people being sent down these weird extremist rabbit-holes, that stuff went from like, 20% of recommends, to maybe 1 video in dozens. And I know they've said they improved the algorithm a couple of times since, and it is, for me, now really, really good at finding weird stuff I like but didn't know was out there!

My youtube algorithm just keeps showing me people almost getting bitten by venomous snakes and Conan O'Brien clips, so I am pretty content lol
